VSO’s approach to duty of care encompasses safeguarding, security and medical. As we continue to strive for excellence in this area, we have identified the need for a consultant to undertake a training needs analysis for VSO globally across the areas of duty of care: safeguarding, security, medical. The consultant will use this information to establish risk levels and map training modules for each level, and review our current training resources to identify gaps and possible new resources.
The ideal consultant will be experienced in designing or delivering training content, alongside a sound understanding of the three elements of duty of care. The consultant will also have had experience of undertaking training needs analysis across an international organisation.
Duties:
* Conduct and document an organisation wide training needs analysis on our duty of care practice and identify the training gaps
* Identify safeguarding/medical/security risk levels across VSO people (including employees, volunteers, consultants and partners) and use those risk levels to map minimum requirements for duty of care training modules for each level
* Collate and organise current VSO training resources within levels required for each group of people Identify gaps and possible new resources that require development
