Role overview
We are seeking an additional Medical Adviser to work as part of VSO’s experienced in- house medical team.
Skills, qualifications and experience
The ideal candidate will be a Medical Doctor with GP training and experience of occupational health and travel medicine. You will need to be registered with the GMC and have at least 2 years’ experience of working in a GP practice. Ideally you will have a Diploma in Occupational Medicine and at least a year’s experience of living and working in resource poor environment. You will have strong communication skills and ability to work sensitively with people of all nationalities, especially young people.

Consultancy
2-3 sessions per week
Some back up on call at evening and weekends
