Role overview

To lead the global financial accounting function, ensuring the accurate production of statutory financial statements along with the provision of user-focused financial services, technical support to country offices, and accurate and efficient transaction processing.

Skills, qualifications and experience

A fully qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge, ideally including the Charities SORP. A proven ability to effectively manage and develop a team, generating a results-oriented, problem-solving team mentality and ensuring timely, high quality results. Experience of challenging existing systems and processes, and initiating improvements and change. Strong IT skills, including accounting and reporting packages and especially Excel.
