Role overview
Build and strengthen the capacity of health workers, clinical leads and Village Health Team members in Adolescent friendly maternal, sexual and reproductive health services through training, on the job coaching, mentoring and support supervision. Support strengthening of referral pathways, provide technical advice and support implementation of policies and procedures.
Skills, qualifications and experience
The individual should be; Qualified nursing professional specialized in SRH, have a minimum of 5 years experience post qualification experience. Experience in and Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) preferred.
This project is funded by Irish Aid’s Volunteering Initiativewhich aims to promote volunteering within Ireland and the Irish public. Irish citizens or people living in Ireland are encouraged to apply.
Allowance and accommodation
All volunteers have an allowance paid in local currency. The allowance meets reasonable living expenses in country, but will not be enough to send money home.
VSO works with some of the poorest communities in the world which means accommodation varies and will be basic.
