Role overview
To Coordinate with the entire Country Programme Team to ensure smooth operations of all types of activities including but not limited to general administration, procurement, logistics, IT services, supply chain, contract management by working under supervision of Country Director
Skills, qualifications and experience
The candidate must be university graduate in business administration or relevant degree with diploma / certificate in procurement, logistics management, supply chain, general office operations and administration. At least 4-5 years of Support Services (administration, logistics, procurement and security management) and customer care and service oriented, In-depth knowledge of the full range of administrative, logistical, security and office support services, including systems and procedures. Commitment to customer satisfaction and ability to develop and improve the service to meet customer needs
Excellent relationship management skills and experience working with people in different contexts;
Strong computer skills, including statistical packages and the ability to interpret data and construct models where appropriate;
Good communications skills - able to express complex information in a simple and succinct manner. Self starter with initiative and confidence to lead in their designated field. Planning and Time Management: Significant experience of working in an administrative role, managing and prioritising a varied workload, achieving high quality results, and meeting deadlines with minimum supervision
Understanding of Development Issues knowledge of development issues and an understanding of the role volunteers can play in facilitating social change Demonstrably numerate; confident, experienced and accurate when dealing with financial and other numerical information
Competent Data usage including speedy collation and accurate recording of complex and high volume data, using appropriate IT packages where necessary
Experience in a 'Development' context/ INGOs in Sierra Leone Fluency in English Knowledge of local language is an asset Clean, valid driving license Able to undertake occasional travel within the country and at times internationally. Experience of cross-cultural working and an understanding of issues of diversity.
