Role overview
This role is key to helping us raise funds for our vital work by supporting the Support Engagement Team across a range of campaigns and appeals including mail, email, and digital.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about international development and looking to progress into a career in fundraising.
We are launching a number of new projects in the next year and so this is a really exciting time to join our growing team.
We are seeking a Fundraising Assistant to help support our growing Supporter Engagement Team across a range of campaigns.
You will be responsible for building website articles, donation and thank you pages, as well as fundraising emails in line with fundraising content produced on projects managed by members across the Supporter Engagement Team.
You will support the team in administrative, data, and quality fundraising tasks such as invoice processing, data checking and fundraising call listening.
You will help the team identify interesting programme areas for fundraising through programme research, and help us manage the best campaigns by keeping results up to date.
Skills, qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who is highly organised and efficient. You should have experience of managing competing deadlines and priorities. This could be in a professional or academic environment.
You should have a keen eye for detail and be a quick learner.
You will love working with a team and be comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
Ideally you will have a university degree in an area relevant to international development or marketing, but this is not essential.
This would suit a passionate individual looking to begin a career in fundraising for international development.
