The opportunity The Award Manager is responsible for management and follow up of awards funded by Rädda Barnen in Save the Children’s international programme. He/she collaborates with colleagues in Rädda Barnen, Save the Children International and Members related to proposal development as well as monitoring and reporting (narrative and financial) of awards.

In order to be successful in this role you'll bring

  • Academic degree/diploma or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • Several year’s experience from award management in the international development and/or humanitarian sector, including coordination of proposal and reporting processes and budgeting
  • International experience of development and/or humanitarian field work
  • Understanding of rights-based and result-oriented development/humanitarian work.
  • Understanding of civil society and its role in bringing about change and development
  • Experience from project management
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Agresso

Additional languages are considered an asset.
