Role overview
Working within the Global Donor Management Team, provide lead donor specialism on USAID for VSO worldwide; providing donor intelligence and capture planning to enable VSO to position itself for opportunities; provide high quality technical compliance support across the programme cycle (from pre-positioning to bid development to grant implementation and close out); engage with D.C. based partners.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
Looking for someone who finds USAID fascinating and follows all of the latest developments - from congressional budget allocations to mission forecasts to how USAIDForward is being experienced globally. This person will relish the opportunity to travel and connect with VSO's diverse teams and help piece together various bits of intelligence to help position VSO for USG funding for our health, education, governance and livelihoods work, bringing a spark of creativity and enthusiasm so that no day and no bid is ever the same.
