Role overview
The research will be required to summarize, analyze and interpret the data. The expert will prepare a report with a situational analysis and recommendations that would inform interventions of the project such as methodologies and tools to be used when working with teachers, pupils and parents and infrastructural support for schools. As part of programme teams you will ensure that curriculum development, quality management and enhancement comply with required standards. In addition, you will be expected to engage with research activity, contributing to research projects, the work of the department's research clusters and ensuring research-informed learning.
Essential
- The successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge and genuine interest in education and educational/schools leadership, outstanding communication skills with the ability to engage, confidently, with everyone and the ability to use innovative methods of teaching / learning technologies to inspire and motivate students.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Population and Gender Studies, Education or other related fields. A Master's degree will be an added advantage
- At least 5 years' work experience with development project preferably in the area of research in educational programs in non-profit organization
Excellent skills in report writing and developing field research materials
