Role overview
The overall placement objective is to contribute to the maternal and child health program by strengthening the labor and delivery wards of NEMM hospital (through giving clinical and capacity building services); and providing relevant input to the Regional health Bureau and Federal Ministry of Health as appropriate.
Skills, qualifications and experience required
The ideal candidate is a Doctor of Medicine (MD) with specialty in GYN/OBY They hold a Certificate of Specialty or equivalent post graduate clinical training in Gynecology and Obstetrics. If it is from the Royal college then the candidate should be above STV5 level of training.
A minimum of two years’ experience as Gynecologist and Obstetrician at a hospital level.
According to the donor interest and the need in the ground this placement invites doctors from the Netherlands who have adequate and relevant experience and with the background in tropical medicine.
